We had two weeks off, airline miles to spend, and an itch to travel. So, we threw a dart and landed in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We booked a car for the full two weeks, booked a hotel for two nights, and made the rest up as we went along. Visits included San Juan, Fajardo, Vieques, Rincon, Mayaguez, and San Sebastian. This trip itinerary is HIGHLY recommended if you need a relaxing break from the daily grind.

San Diego, 2011.....
It was that time of year again...the March birthday celebration trip. Since the drug lords have rendered Mexico unsafe for travel, the birthday crew chose lovely San Diego as our tropical birthday destination of choice. Trip adventures included a jaunt to the Sea Wall in La Jolla, seal watching, a trip out to the Stone Brewery (leaving with a full growler), a day trip to the zoo, then drinking & dining in Old Town.
If you're going to get older, you may as well have fun doing it!
